Essie -Mark OnMiami

Ok....so I caved. I used a white base and definitely achieved a neon-like effect. Such a beautiful, bright orange that I  didn't want this to go wrong. So I have on one coat of Zoya Purity and two coats of Essie's Mark on Miami. Dries matte. Topped with Julep Freedom Polymer quick dry top coat.

Essie -The Fuchsia of Art

....oh no...not another one from the Neons 2016 collection by Essie. They do recommend white base but....no....not doing that. Neon should be neon without the support of a white base. Do you agree?

Essie - Stencil Me In

Essie does recommend using white as a base coat for their Neons 2016.....but I'm a rebel....not doing it! Sadly this polish really needs it. This is three coats and not that vibrant.... (sigh). Topped with quick dry top coat HK Girl from Glisten and Glow. Next......

Morgan Taylor - Street Cred-ible

Wow! What a shade this is! Orangy-yellow neon that dries matte. Consistency a bit gloopy. Second coat did even it out. Topped with a quick dry topper for gloss.

Morgan Taylor - Hip Hot Coral

Bright pinkish-coral from Morgan Taylor's Street Beat collection. Two coats for full opacity. I used quick dry top coat Out the Door Northern Lights.

This is a neon creamsicle shade. Two coats, good formula. Didn't dry down matte like most neons however I still added quick dry top coat.

China Glaze-Bite Me-Light Brites Collection

Beautiful hot watermelon shade with the slightest shimmer. Dries slightly matte so I would prefer a top coat. Two coats; good formula.

China Glaze-Hot Flash-Light Brites Collection

Bright summer red that leans slighly on the orange side. Two coats. Good formula. Not as shiny on its own to my liking. Top coat....no problem :)

China Glaze-Papa Don't Peach-Light Brites Collection

Fluorescent orange with micro glitter. Two coats. Polish literally slid off two nails after more than an hour. Bad bottle? Bad formula?
